Backyard Biodiversity: Species at Risk Hike

 

 

 

Celebrate Earth Week with Muskoka Watershed Council on a guided Walk & Talk to learn about a component of our backyard biodiversity, Species at Risk.

 

This hike will take place at Marsh’s Falls, a beautiful Lake of Bays Heritage Foundation property located just outside of Dwight along the Oxtongue River. Local naturalists Rebecca Krawczyk and Mike Peppard will lead participants on a hike of the property and discuss local Species at Risk.

Heading South on Highway 35 from Dwight, it’s around a sharp bend on the right and just before the bridge over the Oxtongue River, so drive slow.

 

*Park in the parking lot area at the top of the hill and walk down to the cottage below.
